At Red Hill, these individuals will undergo a comprehensive assessment to determine the extent of their involvement with problematic drinking or drug use. The evaluation includes:

• Medical History and Physical Examination
• Addiction Medicine Evaluation
• Psychiatric Evaluation
• Psychological Testing which includes:
  • Clinical Interview
  • Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence
  • Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Test
  • Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory
  • Rorschach Comprehensive System
• Baseline blood work, urine drug screen(s), and hair drug testing (if indicated)
• Psychosocial Assessment
• Therapist Evaluation
• Peer Evaluation in our Licensed Professionals Group
• Contacting Collateral Sources who know the patient (with HIPAA releases) for additional information

Throughout the evaluation process, we maintain contact with the referral source to discuss findings and recommendations. On the last day of the evaluation, we provide the patient with a copy of the letter that will be sent to the referral source, indicating the completion of their evaluation at Red Hill Recovery.
