He completed his residency in Family Medicine through the University of Arkansas in 1999, and subsequently began his private practice in West Monroe, LA.

Throughout his career, Dr. McCormick has treated patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including general illnesses as well as addiction-related issues. He developed a particular interest in Addiction Medicine, and in 2010 he obtained certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine.

In addition to his expertise in addiction medicine, Dr. McCormick has extensive experience in preventative health maintenance, geriatrics, hypertension, diabetes, and nutrition. He strongly believes that each patient's journey towards recovery is unique, and that Redhill Recovery provides the personal and clinical support necessary to address patients' spiritual, emotional, and physical needs.
